Left Bay Area on Saturday afternoon. Spend night sleeping in the
car in Whitney Portal (rangers didn't bother me).
After the epic daytrip to climb Mt. Tyndall
Left car: 5:30am
Upper Boy Scout Lake: 8am
Top of the Russel-Carillon saddle: 10:30am
Left for Russel: 11am
Top of Russel: 12:45pm
Left Russel: 1:35pm
Back to the Saddle: 2:55pm
Left for Carillon: 3pm
Top of Carillon: 3:15pm!
Helped (rescued?) idiots coming down from Mountaneering Route by the
slabs above the North Fork of the Lone Pine.
Back to the car: 7pm
Drove back to the Bay Area arriving at 2:55am.
